Professional Childcare

Our aim is to take the stress out of your special day by providing the children with a safe and fun environment, whilst still feeling they are included in the wedding. This leaves you to enjoy quality time with your guests and gives parents a break.

We tailor make each creche to suit the requirements of the bride and groom as well as the number and ages of children attending.
Scallywags Creche is a fully insured service. We provide qualified and experienced staff, all of whom are CRB and reference checked.
We work to strict ratios of staff to children, and always have at least one first aider at each creche to ensure quality of care is maintained at all times. Safety is paramount, as is having  lots of fun.
We can provide a creche for as long as you wish, the minimum number of hours is three and we always have at least two members of staff at each event.
We contact all parents prior to the day to ensure we have all details we need, paying particular attention to allergies/special needs and ages of children.

Activities we provide

We have a wide variety of toys and equipment and change them for each creche to ensure all ages of children are catered for, from birth up to 12 years of age.
These may include:

  • Ball pit
  • Small Bouncy Castle
  • Tunnel and Pop-up tent
  • Cars, Dolls, Trains
  • Board games, Books, Puzzles
  • Party Games, Team games, Relays
  • Mini sports day
  • Parachute games
  • Building blocks, Mega blocks, Magnetix
  • Craft activities, Play dough
  • Shape sorters/Activity centre, Baby gym and
  • additional baby equipment such as travel
  • cot, change mat, blankets and sheets.
  • DVD player and a selection of DVDs and CDs

Children are welcome to bring a toy or comforter with them, as well as change bags, drinks or snacks they may need during the creche.
